WE SERVE

We are community service organization dedicated to serving the local Eagle River and Chugiak communities in Alaska. Our primary mission is to support those in need through various charitable activities, events, and community improvement projects. 

Meetings and Activities

• Meetings: The club meets on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 pm at the Lions Den building in the Eagle River Lions Park.

• Projects: Involvement in vision screenings, providing scholarships, aiding seniors and the disabled, and supporting local youth and schools.

• Events: Host various community events, including an annual Easter egg hunt, 3rd of July, with proceeds supporting their charitable donations.

• Facilities: The Eagle River Lions Park features amenities such as ball fields, a dog park, and pickleball courts that are open to the public. The clubhouse is also available for rentals for private events like graduation parties and wedding receptions. 

Related Organizations

There is a separate but related organization in the area called the Sleeping Lady Mountain Lions Club which also uses the same location for meetings and focuses on community service and scholarships.
